Some Pics!
Hey there! Sorry we've not been updating - we'll try to do better.

...Which reminded me of this one...

Well, I thought I'd post a couple pics from The Vision. These are color-corrected to make it look like night (otherwise known as Day-For-Night Conversion). I've noticed that things often look different on a regular TV than they do on the computer monitor. I was worried that, although the the DFN (Day-For-Night) might look fine on the computer, it wouldn't look so good on the TV. So last night Dominic and I burned some DFN shots to DVD to see how they looked on the TV. We prayed before doing so, and, ALL glory be to the Lord, the footage looked good on the TV! It needs darkened, but by His grace and goodness, it came out well! The Lord is definitely in this project and we pray for His continued guidance with it. Jesus Christ most definitely gets ALL credit for anything good in this film! By His grace, it will help bring people to, or closer to, He, and He alone.
So, without further ado, here are some stills (sorry if they don't show up all that great):

Okay, that's all I'm going to share with you right now.
However, Dominic was showing me some of his awesome pictures the other night (last night?), and I spotted, out of the vast number he's taken, these two...

The Lord has certainly brought us a long way since Loving the Enemy. Don't get me wrong, we've still got a LONG way to go, but the Lord's provided, with the help of my wonderful parents, better software to help in the making of these films. We could not make this film using Pinnacle Studio - we most definitely need the Adobe software, at least After Effects, to make it work, and it's only by God's guidance that even that is working for us! I just am so thankful that we don't have to do these films on our own - we wouldn't be able to get it done.
Hope you enjoyed this post! God bless!

The Vision Trailer
We would like to announce: The trailer for The Vision! The trailer's a bit rough; we may make some more changes in the future. We had originally meant it as an early trailer but we feel mostly pleased with the way it came out, so, like I said, it's an early version and we may make some more changes, but for the most part this is the finished trailer.
The Lord's really guided us as far as day-for-night conversion in the film, some of which you can see in the trailer. However, the day-for-night in the trailer is NOT the final quality it will be in the movie, and some shots that don't appear to have the effect in the trailer will have the effect in the actual film. Again, please keep us in your prayers as we continue in post-production and to God be ALL the glory!
God bless!

God's Love
I wanted to share a video with everyone that I saw on GodTube that I found incredibly touching. It's taken from the short allegorical film MOST, which I have not seen and do not recommend, because I can't personally speak to its content and such. But this video is amazing and beautiful. The music is wonderful. I hope you all enjoy as much as I have.
God bless!

Precious Treasure
Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you know about a new Christian production that is preparing to shoot. It's called Precious Treasure, and it is headed-up by my good friend Chad Stembridge. I have personally read an early draft of the script, and the film is well-worth supporting. It's a film that will encourage and edify all Christians, particularly fathers and daughters, but is certainly not limited to that group. There's something in there for everyone.
Click here to find out more about how to help. I would also like to emphasize that if you even say just one prayer for this film, that is helping and I know will be greatly appreciated!
This movie deserves support because I know Chad is doing it first and foremost for the glory of God and the film encompasses that truth.
Thanks for reading and God bless!

P.S. Chad is also the creator of The Journal, which I highly recommend.

Updates!
Okay, time to give you all some updates on our current projects and such. Much has been going on.
First off, the CineNOsin competition ended yesterday, and we are going to be notified by the 15th of this month as to who the winner will be.
We also recently put together a video for World Ahead book publishing's Kids and Globaloney Contest. I've included the YouTube video at the end of this post. Praise the Lord for His guidance - we got it done the last day scheduled for receiving entries!
Now to get to our newest short film: The Vision. As of today, we have every filmed scene of them cut into a (very) rough form! There is a TON of ADR (Voice-Over) and Foley (Sound Effects) work to be done still. Also, there are a couple little parts that still need filmed as well. We also have some special effects shots that need to be worked on, and the coloring needs to be fixed, which will include a fair amount of day-to-night conversion, since part of the movie takes place at night. It wasn't really an option for us to shoot at night, so we have to try and fix that through Color-Correction. Please pray for the Lord's guidance and blessing in this area. We've played around some and gotten good results, so we know that, with the Lord's help, the final result could easily look very good.
Also, we hope to film a new movie sometime this month. Family Court will be a comedy/drama/mystery for the whole family, and will in some way involve every member of our own family in the production.
We also hope to record and edit our family audio drama within the next couple of months. The title is not official, but will most likely be something like: Mystery of the Corn Thief, but this is apt to change.
More info on all these projects can be found at http://www.us4him.com/.
We have completely finished Loving the Enemy and have it up for sale for $10 flat - no shipping costs! Check out the store on our website for more info on that.
Please keep us in your prayers as we strive to make better and better films for the glory of the Lord. God has really convicted me lately that I need to really be dedicating myself and my projects to Him, far more so than I have done in the past. The Lord really led me to this conviction through a message by Stephen Kendrick, one of the creators of Facing the Giants and the upcoming Fireproof, which I am highly looking forward to.
Thanks for reading and praying! God bless!
