Duel of the Masters

New note: I was just told that the video still isn't working. So, I have deleted the post and started a new one. Hopefully this will work. If not, please let email me if you know my email or leave a comment to tell me. Thanks!

Note: Sorry if you were unable to view this before. We made the video private thinking we would still be able to embed it to the blog and watch it but that wasn't the case. If this doesn't work we'll try converting it to a new file type and re-posting...hopefully we won't have to. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it!

Here's a video we made with Ezekiel and John. We shot it over a month ago and started on it but were unable to finish because LTE kept us busy. So Dominic and I worked on it last night and finished it today. It was shot on Dominic's digital camera in video mode and my small, low-quality hand-camera, so that's why the quality isn't that great. The special effects were done in Adobe After Effects using a special plug-in downloaded from the Creative Cow website. The editing and sound mixing was done in Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 and the lightsaber sound effects were downloaded off the internet. The music was taken from the Episode 3 soundtrack.

Hope you enjoy and God bless!

East to West

This is a song by my favorite band Casting Crowns. It is called East to West. The song is from their new CD The Altar and the Door that has not come out yet. I have heard no other songs from the CD so I don't know if it's rocky or not. This song is my favorite CCM song at the moment. Hope you enjoy!

Anth

Note: Just to make sure everyone knows, we did not put this video together. We found it posted by a fellow YouTuber.

Letters From War

This is just a great song.

MercyMe

We rarely listen to CCM anymore. But there are still a few decent songs around. Amazingly these two are from the same group, MercyMe. Usually they have more upbeat light rock music. But these two are pretty tame. Hope you enjoy them!

Anth

Blender Photos

I was talking to my friend Andrea the other day and we got on the subject of 3-D Animation. Then I remembered that I have some still pictures which I've created in Blender and thought I'd post them on here. I've done a few short videos as well... if we get a YouTube account I'll see about posting them on here.

God bless!

Geno

Here's one I did of my name, with Raytracing enabled to get the reflection. It produces a cool effect for photos but often isn't used in videos because it hogs up render time.

Here's a picture of our 'us4HIM' logo. We have a video animation of it, so this is just a still. BTW, although this picture doesn't show it, 'us4HIM Productions' is TradeMarked.

Here's a Meta Shape I created. I added a certain texture to give it this unique kind of look.

Okay, an explanation is in order for this next one. You see, I'm following an online tutorial and in the beginning sections on modeling, it said to use almost every shape. One of the pre-programmed shapes Blender includes (for whatever reason) is a Monkey Head, so in order to follow the tutorial, I had to use the monkey head. I think it would be much better to have a human head pre-programmed, as that would be much more useful, but they haven't done that yet. Although, I don't have the latest version, so who knows what's on there...

Anyway, this one has raytracing also, and I think on more than one object. See how it kind of makes the ground look like glass?

Here's the last one. It's just the picture of the monkey creature without anything special, except that I added a cube and made its texture the same exact picture, allowing me to include my scene within my scene. I'm guessing you can use that like if your characters are watching a TV by creating the video beforehand and then putting it in the TV object. Kind of cool.

Mr. Safeguard

This is a video made by the host of the GCFF, (Captain) Bret Smith.

Be sure to watch Captain Bret's interview after the credits. He brings up many good points and it is very thought-provoking.

Why the Rebelution is Awesome

The Rebelution is one of my absolute favorite sites/blogs to go to. It is one of the few morally edifying websites aimed at teens I have ever found. I find that I agree with the majority of what they say on there, which is quite rare in today's luke-warm age. It is a godly and refreshing site that is also highly challenging. I wish I could go to one of these conferences... maybe someday. These guys also cover the SAICFF every year, so even though I probably won't be able to go even if Loving the Enemy is a finalist, I'll get to stay tuned into what's happening via their website. Here's a video of their nationwide tour that I thought was encouraging. It's also very professional-looking.

God bless!
